Over ten charities who provide immigration advice and support services to migrant communities, have prepared a briefing for MPs on the Government’s ‘Earned Settlement’ proposals.
The briefing highlights that the proposals could affect over 2 million people living and working in the UK, and would have far-reaching impacts including on child poverty, family security, equalities, social cohesion, local authorities and strategic sectors of the economy.
This is why charities are asking MPs to act now before final decisions on these reforms are made.
