Over 30 organisations have signed an open letter to the new Home Secretary, Priti Patel, calling for reform to the immigration and asylum system. The letter sets out what needs to change, including more safe and legal routes to asylum, the right to work for people seeking asylum, comprehensive asylum support systems, refugee family reunion and an end to indefinite immigration detention.
